In recognition of National Short Film Day, December 28, 2021, Big Picture Inc. (BPI) takes a look back at the first season of BIG Aye Candy, the original short film web series produced by BPI.

Combining stunning cinematography, creative writing, majestic music, sound design, visual effects, animation and compositing, 4K editing, and narration, every BIG Aye Candy mini-movie makes the effort to offer a complete story in 60 seconds.

Debuting on BPI’s Facebook, LinkedIn, YouTube, and TikTok channels on September 17, 2021, the 16-episode season features short film storytelling, with subjects ranging about an accountant dreaming to be a boat captain to a music video with a dancing gingerbread man.

With thousands of views since the debut of BIG Aye Candy, Executive Producer and BPI President, Jay Udavcak offers a look at the future, “Producing short films for the small screen will continue in 2022, as we rename the series “The Big Mini Movie”, and expand into new areas of visual storytelling.”

Big Picture, Inc. is celebrating 20 years in business, providing broadcast quality HD and 4k video production services to leading government, corporate and non-profit clients in the Washington D.C. and Northern Virginia region.
