In 2005, Tim Welsh and Pat Ford had a vision of opening a creamery in the mountains of Northern Utah. Not knowing what they couldn’t do, the two broke with tradition and created their own rules about what artisan cheese could be. With their families by their side, they built a company grounded in independent thinking, connectedness, and authenticity. Beehive Cheese continues to produce award-winning cheese that bring family and friends together.

Located just 30 miles north of Salt Lake City and 70 miles northwest of Park City, Beehive Cheese has been a local artisan staple on the menus of many fine restaurants. During the summer months, we participate in Farmer’s Markets. Beehive also supports many community events with donations.
