What if we could, through a digital copy of the world, secured on the blockchain, coordinate changes that will benefit the real world? Understanding the issues we face in today’s society and actively working to solve them is one of the key pillars in Planet IX.

Planet IX is an NFT-based strategy and play-to-earn game. Players contribute to building a better planet by acquiring and cultivating land in the form of NFTs.
What is Planet IX?
Planet IX is an NFT-based GameFi strategy game. With a virtual copy of our planet as your playing field, your goal is to restore the planet to its former green and blue glory– and you do it by acquiring pieces of land called PIX, collecting waste, exchanging it for rewards and upgrading your PIX with facilities that further rejuvenate the planet.
The main game objective is to collect and trade as many PIX as possible and restore the planet through our PlayToEarn functionalities, such as collecting waste. When you have traded or collaborated your way to a larger area of PIX, you will be able to merge them into a Territory NFT, enabling true and exclusive ownership of your PIX collection. The PIX are acquired using our very own ERC-20 utility token called IX Token (IXT) which was launched on November 20, 2021.
The game story and narrative is tailored towards bringing awareness of mankind’s negative environmental impact on the planet, and will also be incorporated in the game mechanics. The game development roadmap includes features where players can directly contribute to ESG and other environmental impact organisations by donating or contributing IXT towards their respective causes.
Players can also participate in various DeFi products from the IX Token ecosystem; Single IXT Staking, Territory NFT Staking, dedicated LP mining pools from DEX and much more to come. Planet IX was founded in July 2021 and went fully on-chain on November 20 the same year.
GAME OBJECTIVES
Planet IX is an NFT strategy game, inspired by trading platforms and with a passionate and genuine approach to storytelling.
Planet IX game story will unravel as the users are completing challenges, both in-game and real-world. These challenges, when completed, can potentially grant users additional IX Tokens*.
The story will be told throughout different chapters. With each new chapter, new NFT collections will be released, new initiatives will be introduced and several new challenges related to Play-to-Earn opportunities will be added.
