Public goods, services and resource development demand plan is an important component of Village Poverty Reduction Plan. The plan lists the gaps in the availability and quality of services and also comprises of a Village level map reflecting the demands for public goods and resources within the village. The Village level mapping is facilitated in the field so as to enhance the capacity of the Village Organisation members to identify the infrastructural gaps in their village and place demand for the same. The mapping is done through a Participatory Rural Appraisal technique. This plan is promoted under the tools of participatory planning developed by Kudumbashree NRO under the PRI-CBO Convergence Project.
Mandated by MoRD, Kudumbashree NRO is currently partnering with the five State Rural Livelihood Missions under NRLM to implement this project.
